I’d like to hear about the success stories as well. If only two leads turn to sales then the service will have paid for itself, but I don’t want to shell out the money if I don’t have any idea if they can deliver more than two good leads. I wouldn’t think about using them except that I’m getting leads from my website and I’m beginning to wonder how many leads housevalues or homegain gets that they could send my way.

There are agents that make money using HomeGain and other lead sources, but they are the minority. Most will agree that it is not worth the time and effort for the ROI.

Now one thing that WAY to many agents say all the time is “if only X number of leads turn to sales then the service will have paid for itself”. So what, do you really want to work for free?

The real question is how many leads need to convert for you to turn a fair profit/return on investment? Once you figure out how many are needed then you need to figure out if that is realistic. Most of the time the answer will be no.
